SouthNorte is a brewing company based in San Diego and heavily influenced by the Mexican beer scene. Having lived in Tijuana for years, its founder, Ryan Brooks, fell in love with the flavors and craft behind Mexican beers but wanted to add his own twist to it; hence the birth of SouthNorte. But how does an American brewing master successfully launch a brewing company with so much Mexican influence?

South (Tijuana) and Norte (San Diego) in its most literal sense is the coming together of two sides, but most importantly, it’s the coming together of two worlds. A crossroad where two cultures come together to create a bicultural beer.
